Dorothy June (Mansell) Schnittker, 96 of Wellington, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Missouri surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Dorothy was born June 1, 1927, in Napoleon, Missouri to Robert and Edna (Hergemueller) Mansell. Dorothy retired as an inspector for Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Along with spending time with family and friends, Dorothy enjoyed going to auctions, flee markets and yard sales.
Dorothy is survived by one son, William Schnittker of Henrietta, MO; twelve grandchildren, Sandi (Jimmy) Jones, Angela Schnittker, Karen (Scott) Lloyd, Brandy Schnittker, Crystal Schnittker, James Schnittker, Jr., Bryan (Connie) Schnittker, William Schnittker, Jason Schnittker, Travis Schnittker, Robert (Cortny) Schnittker, and Megan Schnittker; seventeen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vera Breuer and Judy Crowley; one brother, John Mansell; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Along with both her parents, Dorothy was preceded with death by two children, John and James Schnittker; one grandchild, Logan Schnittker; three sisters, Margarete Braxdale, Mary Johnson, and Louise Campbell; three brothers, Everett Mansell, Russell Mansell, and Frank Mansell.
