Meredith Louise (Branson) Curry, 92, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Good Shepherd in Concordia, Missouri surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Friendless. Memories of Meredith and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245.

Meredith was born on March 12, 1933, in Lexington, Missouri to Richard and Celeste (Woodruff) Branson. She graduated from Lexington High School. Meredith worked for 20 years as a seamstress for Lee’s Jeans. Meredith was united in marriage on October 31, 1952, to Charles F. Curry in Bentonville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2005. After retirement, Meredith and Charles traveled the U.S. in their motorhome, volunteering for MO State Parks as campground hosts and for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as tour guides in Spearfish, SD. When Meredith wasn’t traveling the world, she enjoyed craft making and sewing.

Meredith is survived by a daughter, Kathy Marcos of Renton, WA; two stepchildren, David Lee Curry of Kansas City North and William A. (Paula) Curry of Independence, MO; one step grandson, Chris Hobbes; three nieces, nine nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Meredith was preceded in death by both her parents, her loving husband, two brothers, Eugene Branson and J.W. Branson; one sister, Iris Railey.
