Dorothy Suwanski Stanisz, age 79, of Itasca, IL, passed away on July 3, 2024 in Florida.
Beloved daughter of Helen & Frank Suwanski and the youngest of their four children, loving sister of Francis, the late Wanda, and Richard.
Dorothy attended St. Columbkille High School and had a successful career as an award-winning real estate agent. Throughout the years, she built a loyal client base, many of whom she considered friends. Dorothy's clients loved having a cup of coffee with her at their kitchen table, where they would talk for hours. She had a genuine knack for connecting with people and providing them with personalized care.
Dorothy was a devoted and loving mother who cherished her children. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, Michelle and Robert, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She adored every moment she spent with them.
In addition to her family, Dorothy was a friend to many and radiated warmth and kindness wherever she went. She had a natural ability to listen, offer assistance, and genuinely care for others. Her presence was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. Her loss will forever leave our hearts broken. May she shine bright in eternity and rest in glorious peace.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dorothy during this difficult time. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration for all who knew her.
A memorial visitation will take place on August 10, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Memorial Service 2:00 P.M. with Fr. Thomas Baldonieri, officiating at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood IL 60040.
