Doug Sullivan, Jr.
SPRING GLEN- Larry Douglas "Doug" Sullivan, Jr., age 70, passed away suddenly in Sunnyside, Utah on Monday, December 23, 2024.
Doug was born on July 15, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Larry Douglas and Melvia Hunt Sullivan.
Doug attended and graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Following graduation, Doug enlisted in the service. He started with the United States Navy and later served with the United States Army. After coming home from the service, Doug spent most of his working time in the mining industry in Carbon and Emery Counties as an Electrician.
Doug had a great love for his family. He always enjoyed his time spent with his nephew, Brian kicking around in the outdoors; fishing, hunting, or camping. Doug had a passion for rocks! He was known as a "rockhound" to his family.
Survived by his siblings, Susan Strong, Apple Valley, California, BettyAnn (Jack) Cooper, Spring Glen, Utah, Mary (Chris) Gosdis, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mark Sullivan, Salt Lake City, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Larry Douglas and Melvia Hunt Sullivan; brother-in-law, Bill Strong; and nephew, Troy Douglas.
Per Doug's wishes; no services will be held at this time.
Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Doug online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
