Doug and I worked closely for a number of years and bonded over the good and bad of our job. No matter how frustrated we got, Doug would always have jokes to tell to lighten the mood. When an opportunity to participate in Meals on Wheels came up, Doug jumped at the chance, and we showed each other different types of music. Unfortunately, I moved teams, and we didn't interact as often, but it was still fun to catch him on calls every once in a while; he never lost his sense of humor. I take comfort that his family can focus on the positive that Doug brought to everyone's lives.

What a great Teammate and person Doug was. I have been part of several departments and groups in my career at Citi. Not everyone would welcome you to a new team as Doug did. An open book of knowledge and positive attitude. Surely, he is missed during my weekly calls. Surely, he is in the grace of God.

It saddens me to be writing this about my brother Doug. I always thought with his optimism and fighting spirit that he would beat his cancer. I guess cancer won this time.
Having Doug as a brother has been a blessing. He was a kind hearted person and I always thought he was very smart because he could play chess.
As a young child, he was a skinny little guy that would curl up in a ball and rock on his head and hum to help himself go to sleep. It was a funny thing to see.
Since we were only a year apart we did have sibling quarrels. He would slurp his milk while eating his cereal and that drove me crazy. We would chase each other around the dining room table where he would pull the chairs out in front of me, sending me over the chairs.
In High School Doug was a good tennis player and later he switched to racquet ball. He was equally good at that.
I love and miss you dear brother. I will miss your smile and sense of humor.
Although, I am sure you are in heaven making everyone smile.
Rest in peace Doug, until we meet again.
Love, your sister
Lee

You were always such a joy to your family, Doug. You kept your joyous heart your entire life, and managed to maintain a positive attitude. Being your Aunt gave me a great deal of joy, especially since we were so close in age. I got to live the "goofy kid" years with you, and will never forget those times.

I met Doug in Chase. He was a gifted technology guy, we worked together on many performance and cost cutting projects. We became friends throughout the years. After I left Chase, several years later he too left Chase. I got him a great position in Citi. We had our little "breakfast club" and "lunch club" on a daily basis. We never missed a day. Had many a laugh, Doug had the best personality of anyone I know. Many memories. He will be missed
