Douglas Shell Obituary
Douglas Allen Shell, age 61 of Germantown OH passed away at his home on December 23, 2023. Doug was born in Dayton, OH to George and Sharon (Eby) Shell, graduated from Valley View High School, class of 1980, and retired from Ernst Concrete. Doug loved history, reading, woodworking and anything outdoors, especially fishing. Doug was preceded in death by his wife Karen Shell. Along with his parents George and Sharon Shell, he is survived by his sons James and Ryan (Kyjah) Shell, his grandson Jace Shell, his brother Daren (Jenny) Shell, as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 4-6pm at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH. Doug will be laid to rest next to his wife, Karen at Holp Cemetery in Farmersville during a private graveside service.
