Douglas Wayne Singleton II was born September 30, 1988, in Sherman, Texas, to Douglas Wayne Singleton Sr. and Theresa Lynn Brown.
He graduated from Sherman High school in 2007.
In June of 2015, Douglas Singleton and Devan Pherigo were blessed with Ethan Douglas Singleton. Ethan was the joy, pride and unwavering love in Douglas's world.
Douglas loved spending time with his friends and family. He was always ready for a good party, great food, beer pong, sharing a shot or two and enjoying a smoke. Bonfires, camping, Bromide rock throwing, cliff jumping and cold water was always calling his soul.
Our hearts are so broken. There is such a void that cannot be explained.
We are so blessed to have so much love and support which has truly been brought to us by Doug's infectious smile, loving arms, competitive spirit, passion for life and kind soul to everyone he encountered.
Left to cherish Doug's memories are his sons Ethan Douglas Singleton and Cole Alexander Freeman; mother Theresa Footlander; fathers Douglas Singleton (Janie) and Scott Footlander; grandmother Melba Ludlam; sister Jessica Graham; brother Kenneth Graham; sisters Janie Giddings and Angel Giddings; aunts Jennifer Smith, Shauna Jo Smith, Katrina Everheart; uncles Michael Brown, Shane Singleton, Tony Hale, Jeff Pickens; great uncle Larry Singleton; nieces, nephews and cousins and a very large chosen family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Carol Brown, James Douglas Singleton and Shelby Ludlam.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 21st at Waldo Funeral Chapel at 1:00 P.M. You can sign the online register book at waldofuneralhome.com.
