Drew E. Geddis

Drew E. Geddis, age 76 of Painesville and previously of Huntersville, North Carolina died on September 7, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was born on October 11, 1948 to the late Winifred and Donald Geddis. After graduating from North High School in Eastlake, he went on and became an auto mechanic. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Auto in Mentor until he accepted a job to manage their facility in North Carolina. It was in North Carolina where Drew met the love of his life, Dale. Drew enjoyed racing at Thompson Speedway. He also had a love of dogs and fostered Dobermans for many years. He stayed in shape by riding his bike and maintaining his house that he loved until he could no longer.

Drew is survived by his sister, Laurie (Joe Bosley) Beckwith; brother, Don (Rose) Geddis; nephew, Mitch (Kayla) Geddis; and many friends in Huntersville, NC. In addition to his parents; Drew is preceded in death by nephew, Shane; and wife, Dale.
