Funeral services for Druesilla Lois Ann Pool, 91, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 9, 2024 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Clint Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-2 P.M. Monday, prior to the service.
Druesilla Pool passed away peacefully and entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born March 9, 1933 in Dallas to Thurston and Alma (Ramsey) Thomas. She graduated from Alvarado High School. Druesilla married Clayton Pool in November of 1968 and together they raised 9 kids. She was a bookkeeper and loved to sing, sew and work jigsaw puzzles on her computer. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star No.0656 in Alvarado.
Druesilla was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Clayton Pool; son Rickey Leonard; daughter, Carlotta Hargrove; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her sons, Wesley Leonard, Marty Pool and wife Lisa and Tommy Leonard and wife Dorene; daughters, Julie Fain, Drushawna Baze, Wendi Shelton and husband Ronny and Misti Lee and husband Paul; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
