Duncan Chisholm, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 27, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York. Duncan's early years saw him moving to Freehold, New Jersey, before eventually settling in Montgomery, Illinois. After a fulfilling career, he later retired on the beautiful Mississippi Coast.

Duncan dedicated a significant part of his life to his role as Plant Supervisor at Diageo Company, where he was known for his commitment and leadership. His work ethic and dedication made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the operations he oversaw.

A proud veteran, Duncan served in the Army during the Vietnam era. This service reflected his character, embodying bravery and dedication—qualities that extended into all areas of his life.

Beyond his career and military service, Duncan was a man of many passions. He was an avid baseball fanatic, whose enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He greatly enjoyed listening to music and cherished his time spent on the coast. He loved exercising, eating great food, socializing, and appreciating the beauty of nature.

Duncan's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Paula Chisholm, and his precious cat, Tiki. He was a proud father to Megan Howard (Scott), Kendra Williamson, Alison Bice (Damon), and Kyle Johnsen. His legacy will continue through his beloved grandchildren: Samantha Williamson, Avery Howard, Ian Welch, Tanner Williamson, Oliver Howard, Abbie Welch, and Acadia Bice. Duncan is also survived by his siblings: Kathleen Edwards, Alexander Chisholm, Ian Chisholm, and Esmond Patrick Chisholm.

Duncan was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Patricia Chisholm.

A private burial service to honor Duncan’s memory will take place on July 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery, located at 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531.
