Celebrating the Life of Dustin Kirk Bond

On August 16, 2025, the Lord called home Dustin Kirk Bond, 47, of Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Though his time here was cut short, Dustin filled his years with hard work, music, laughter, and

love, leaving behind memories that will last a lifetime.

Born May 15, 1978, Dustin was the firstborn of his family and grew up in Chickasha, where

he graduated high school in 1996. Dustin was born with a knack for working with his hands, in

2002, he put that gift to work and started Bond Quality Tile and Construction, pouring his

pride into every project. Clients knew that if Dustin built it, it was going to be solid.

But his life was never just about work. Dustin loved to entertain, to pick up an instrument and

play a tune, and to spend time with family and friends. Music was in his soul, sawdust was often

on his hands, and he had a heart big enough to coach kids on the soccer field with the same care

he gave his own.

Dustin's life changed on February 13th 2004, when his beautiful daughter Amelia was born. On

May 14, 2008, he married the love of his life Angel, and later when they welcomed their

youngest son Ian. Nothing made him prouder than being a husband and a daddy. He taught by

example - to work hard, stand tall, keep faith, and always take care of your people.

Dustin leaves behind his wife, Angel; children, Amelia and Ian; his brother Gareth; sister-in-law

Amber; aunts Kathy Brady and Paula Weedn; cousins Erin, Tony, and Tim Koehler, and Joanie

McDonald; nieces and nephews Ayden, Georgie, Danielle, Gavin, Alannah, Katie, Olivia,

Christian, Zalyn, Jonah, K'dah, Hayden and Ava who adored him. He also leaves behind more

friends than can be counted - friends who were more like family, because once you knew

Dustin, you were kin.

He was greeted in Heaven by his mama, Janis; his sister Megan; his brother Nathan;

grandparents Laverne and Alfred Tims; uncles Gary and Howard Tims; and nephew

Davion Koehler.

A celebration of Dustin's life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2–6 p.m.

at the Railhouse in Norman. All who knew and loved him are welcome to come share

stories, music, and memories in his honor.

As we remember Dustin, we hold close the words of Scripture: "Blessed are the peacemakers:

for they shall be called the children of God." (Matthew 5:9). Dustin was just that - a man of

peace, love, and music - and his legacy lives on in all of us.
