Mr. Dustin Carroll Melton, age 32, entered into rest on April 4, 2025. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2025 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ricky "Sweet" Jenkins and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Ruby Church of God Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Melton was born May 9, 1992 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Carroll and Jennie Moore Melton. Dustin was an electrician with Hinson Electric. He was a young man with a strong work ethic who always took pride in his trade. Dustin also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Melton was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucille Melton.
Survivors include his brothers, William “Tim” (Debbie) Melton of Ruby, SC, Jamie Melton of Ruby, SC, Keith Jackson of Ruby, SC; nieces and nephews, Kayla Melton, April (Beto) Martinez, Jimmy (Shay Jones) Wallace, Danny (Bessie) Wallace, and Chase Ray; uncles and aunts, Ricky (Dianne) Melton of Ruby, SC, Danny Melton of Ruby, SC, Vicky (Frank) McIntyre of Ruby, SC, Vivian (Alaina) Brigman of Ruby, SC, Rachel (Homer) Hodge of Ruby, SC; special cousin, Sherry Hildreth of Ruby, SC; special friend, Leon Verdick; in addition to numerous cousins.
