Dustin Alan Hoeger, 48, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Indianapolis after his battle with cirrhosis.
Dustin Hoeger was born in Beech Grove at St. Francis Hospital to Shirlene and Francis Hoeger on January 1, 1976. He grew up on the west side of Indianapolis where he attended Rhoades Elementary and Ben Davis Highschool. He married Mindy Hoeger on October 30, 2022, in Indianapolis. He worked for Stone's Home Improvement.
Dustin loved jamming out to music, playing with his dog Rune, and going on adventures with his wife Mindy. He also enjoyed having bonfires in his backyard, grilling out, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Mindy Hoeger, his children: Jacob Gentry, Bryana (Robert) Hernandez, Tyler Chambers, and his seven grandchildren; his mother Shirlene Hoeger; brothers: Ron Moore, Daryl Hoeger, and his other brother Darrel Eads; sisters: Robin Unger and Katie Adkins; nieces: Teah (Joey) Stone, Leah Peaden, Francis Williamson; nephew Devin Unger; sister in law Debbie Moore (survived by his brother Rick Moore); and several other family members.
He is preceded in death by his father Francis Hoeger and his brother Rick Moore.
Services will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
We encourage everyone to honor Dustin's legacy and celebrate his life by dressing like Dustin. Please feel free to wear your best band t-shirt and jeans if you would like to participate.
