Dustin Eric Moore, age 28, resident of Martin, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was born in Oregon, Ohio, to Eric and Betty (Shinavar) Moore.
Dustin graduated from Genoa High School and Penta, class of 2015. He furthered his education at the PowerSport Institute, where he graduated in 2017. His career as a construction worker showcased not only his strong will, but also his desire to help others.
He was known for his infectious personality, characterized by his strong-willed nature and his protective instincts towards those he loved. He possessed a huge heart, and his silly sense of humor brought endless joy to those fortunate enough to know him. His dad jokes became a cherished part of family gatherings.
In addition to his work, Dustin pursued a variety of hobbies that brought him immense happiness. He loved riding his motorcycle, visiting swap meets, and the excitement at the demolition derbies. He was an active and proud member of the Barbarians MC. His enthusiasm for golf and video games provided a sense of relaxation with friends, while listening to his eclectic taste in music However, it was his devotion to spending time with family and friends that truly defined him; he was always eager to create memories that would live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Dustin's proudest accomplishment was being an uncle, a role he embraced wholeheartedly, showering his nieces and nephews with love and affection.
As we remember Dustin, we honor a man with a big heart, a silly spirit, and a loving soul who would do anything for anybody. He will be deeply missed, yet never forgotten, as his spirit continues to inspire those left behind.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his parents, Eric and Betty Moore; sisters, Sierra Shinavar and Meagan Moore (Alexander); niece, Emma Yates; nephew, Lennox Rompf; grandparents, Robin (Mike) Osborn, Delbert (Julie) Schwab, Larry (Judy) Shinavar, and Sue Brown; special friend, Jenna Teel; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dustin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Patricia Thrasher, Virgin Brown, and Carol Schwartz.
Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 W. Wynn Road Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, with the funeral beginning at 5:00 pm.
