Dwight Douglas Lufkin, 80, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Calico Rock, Arkansas.
He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 16, 1944, son of the late James Arthur and Emma Elizabeth (Timmin) Lufkin. Dwight served our country in the United States Army for one year and the United States Navy for five years. During his working years, Dwight worked in construction and owned That’s Me Realty in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. He was a member of the American Legion in Horseshoe Bend. Dwight enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles. He loved his kids and enjoyed spending time with them.
Dwight is survived by his son, Eric Lufkin of Oxford, Arkansas; daughter Tammy Marie Grammer of Maryland and grandchildren, Dallas, Danny, Clara Ann, Eric, Jr., Mason, Austin and Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 28, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
