On August 16, 2025, Earnest Dwayne Kuntz of Ruidoso NM , passed away at the age of 89. Dwayne is survived by his wife of 65 years Sue, daughter Kim Turner (Rob), son Jim Kuntz (Lisa), grandchildren Cameron Kuntz (Lindsey), Kailey Kuntz Chambers (Case), Nick Turner, Dylan Turner and his sister Connie Wheeler. Last year’s highlight was the birth and meeting of his two great grandchildren, Cliff Dwayne Chambers and Charlotte Lynn Kuntz.
Dwayne had an incredible gift of charm, love of golf, horse racing, dominos and Texas Tech Athletics. He never met a stranger and if he did he would find a way to make a connection.
The family would like to thank the Ruidoso EMS and Fire Department as well as the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Lincoln County Medical Center.
A celebration of his life with family and friends will be announced at a later date.
