Mr. Edgar Leo Miller Jr. of Tampa, FL passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Keith Evans, Officiating.
Edgar Leo Miller Jr. was born to Ruby Miller and the late Edgar Leo Miller Sr. on November 29, 1964, in Tampa, FL. He was the first of two children. He was a resident of Dallas, TX for 30 years and returned home to Tampa to live out his remaining life for 5 years.
He attended Hillsborough County School, graduated from Leto High School, and continued his education at Tampa Tech College. He was employed as a Computer Engineer at Raytheon. After retiring from Raytheon, he went into business for himself. His favorite pastimes were flying drones, climbing mountains, sky diving, jet skiing, and building computers. He lived a wonderful life.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Gabrielle Mares and husband, MeLisa Jobe and husband Josh, Mollie Goodwin, and Hunter Miller; loving mother, Ruby Miller; loving sister, Natalie Miller and fiancé Demetreus Survia; favorite aunts and uncles, Lottie Lane, Natalie Tracy, Annie Mae Kyles, George Evans Jr., James Evans Sr., and Charlie Williams Sr.; niece and nephew, Destiny Survia and Damarkus Survia; bonus sister, Ms. Annie Neal; and a host of loving and wonderful cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
