She was Born September 1, 1941 in Adams County, OH. She will long be remembered by her friends and
family as "The lady who loved the color red."
She attended Jefferson Centralized School in Bowersville, Ohio. She was the daughter of Wilbur, and Ada Abbott of Xenia, Ohio, who proceeded her in death. Also, she was proceeded in death by her husband Melvin Blain of Port Huron, MI.
She is survived by her son Danny Burnett of TX, and four siblings: Carolyn Nystrom of Newburgh, NY, Mariam (Don) Firman of Reynoldsburg, OH, Dan (Dawn) Abbott of Lebanon, OH, and Rebecca (Gary) Bay of Columbus, NC; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Burial will be at Valley Memorial Gardens in Xenia, Ohio. There will be a graveside service at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial-Smith Chapel, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, MI 48060.
