Edna D. Miller, 77, of Linn Grove, Indiana passed away Thursday morning, April 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 17, 1947 in Decatur, Indiana to David L. and Sovilla S. (Wengerd) Schwartz. Edna was united in marriage to Joe L. Miller on April 20, 1972, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2025.
Edna was a member of Grace Bible Church in Berne, Indiana.
She was a lifelong homemaker and retired from Troyer’s Market following 18 years of service.
Edna enjoyed to draw, puzzles, and spending time in her flower gardens. She was extremely hardworking and loved hosting people. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by daughter, Judy (Delbert) Schwartz of Gentry, Arkansas; son, Larry (Barbara) Miller of Crossville, Alabama; daughter, Linda (Chris) Hay of Linn Grove, Indiana; son, Leon (Erin) Miller of Linn Grove, Indiana; son, Robert (Emma) Miller of Rose, Oklahoma; four sisters-in-law, Malinda Schwartz of Berne, Indiana; Kathryn Schwartz of Bremen, Indiana; Emma Schwartz of Berne, Indiana; and Carol Schwartz of Shipshewana, Indiana; 23 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Roman D. Schwartz, Ernest D. Schwartz, Elmer D. Schwartz, and Harvey D. Schwartz; and one sister, Mary D. Schwartz.
A funeral service for Edna will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Grace Bible Church in Berne, Indiana with Rev. Dr. Jeff Gaskill officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Geneva, Indiana.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana.
Preferred memorials can be given to Galilean Home Ministries.
