Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Julia Chally; her brothers, Robert and Irvine and sister, Wilma; her husband, Kenneth; her son, Roger; and grand-daughter, Erin Simpson.
Edna is survived by her sisrer, Ida Hughes (100 this year); her son, Richard (Janet); her daughters, Diane (Rowan) and Bonnie (John); her grandchildren, Robb, Jason, Emily, Melody, Heather and Michael; her much loved great-grandchildren, Abby, Ian, Owen, Chloe, Carson, Taylor, Beau, Sophie, Jacob, Caitlin, Aiden, Cheyenne, Hannah and Travis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Edna was a longtime resident of Lockport, IL and later of Crest Hill, IL. Her husband, Ken Simpson, and their son Roger Simpson, ran the family business "Simpson Well & Pump" until their passing.
A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 40 Houbolt Rd, Joliet on Saturday, June 17th, at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield, was entrusted with arrangements.
