Edward Andrascik, of Pompton Lakes, originally of Lincoln Park, died Friday, March 17, 2023. He was 59.
Ed attended DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he met his wife Kathy.
Ed loved to keep busy and had many hobbies. He was an avid beekeeper and loved sharing his honey with friends, family and neighbors, and was actively involved as an Officer with New Jersey Beekeepers Association, and the Northeast New Jersey Branch. Most weekends you could find Ed detailing his beloved Jeep or woodworking at his tool bench. He umpired baseball and softball for many years for area Little Leagues and adult leagues, earning him the nickname "Blue Blue". Ed will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and his love of telling jokes.
Ed is lovingly survived by his wife, Kathy (Miros) and their children, Steven, John and Kristin; his brothers, Tom and his wife Diane, and Albert. He was a loving uncle to Tommy and Skylar. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Andrascik Sr. and Doris Andrascik.
A memorial Mass will be held 10 am Monday, March 27th at St. Mary's RC Church in Pompton Lakes.
