Edward R. Budinetz Jr., 81, of Saylorsburg, passed away Monday, January 15, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono.
He was the loving husband of Yasuko M. "Yako" (Yakushiji) Budinetz. They celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary in December of last year.
Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Edward R. Budinetz Sr. and the late Isabel Budinetz.
Edward worked as a salesman for a coffee company for several years. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. Edward was a very honest and good-hearted man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was also an exceptional cook. Most of all, he was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, Yako, he is survived by a son, Chris; two daughters, Robin and Judy; a brother, Jim Budinetz and his wife Lynn; a sister, Anita Medvedik; a grandchild, CJ; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are scheduled at this time. The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
