Edward Hardy Coyle, 87, Of Milton, passed away July 30, 2025.
Born in Dighton to the late Edward and Josephine (Mulhern) Coyle. Edward was an electrical aviation contractor with the United States Government. He is a Retired Colonel with the United States Marine Corps, and a Purple Heart recipient.
Beloved husband of the late Ret. Col. Mary C. (Bailey) Coyle. He is survived by loving cousins, neighbors and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated alongside his wife Mary at Saint Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Monday August 11th at 10:00 AM. Family and friends invited to gather at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE from 9-9:30 AM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
May you rest in peace until you touch the hand of God.
