Publish in a newspaper

Edward Anthony 'Tony' Craver, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away in St. Petersburg, Florida on November 14, 2025. He was born to the late Richard and Mary Craver in Jeffersonville, Indiana on October 1, 1930.
He graduated from Yokohama American High School in Japan during the post-World War II occupation and later the University of Louisville where he would meet the love of his life, Myrna Lois Montgomery.
Tony built a successful professional life beginning with ARCO Aluminum, where he worked as a sales representative. He went on to serve with the Metal Exchange Corporation at its Chicago office as Vice President. Among his coworkers was his lifelong friend, Harold Patinkin, during his tenure 1990 - 2015. He was also founder and president of a private aluminum trading organization, the P1020 Club. He brought his son into the trade and they worked together from 1980 – 1988. From there, his son became a partner with Goldy Metals Trading in Indianapolis.
Tony was a proud Kentucky Colonel, a member of the University of Louisville Alumni Association, was part of the Kappa Phi Fraternity, and a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church in La Grange, Kentucky. He loved good bourbon-especially Jack Daniels-fine dining, traveling for business, and entertaining friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife: Myrna Lois Craver; daughter, Lynne Carol Craver Waechter (Mary). He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son: Deacon Steven Scott Craver (Lorene); his grandchildren, Scott Anthony Craver (Kelly), Spencer Montgomery Craver, Robert Oscar Waechter, and Elena Lucia Waechter; and his great-grandchildren, Merryn Craver, Azalea Craver, Isabella Lunsford, Emeline Lunsford, and Linus Craver.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities of Louisville.
