William Morris Pillischafske, known to many as "Morrie," passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on June 13, 1952, in Louisville.
Morrie was a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky and went on to earn his master's degree from the University of Dayton. His professional life was marked by a diverse and accomplished career. He worked in the banking industry, owned a custom home building company, and held roles in university administration.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Martin and Jean Pillischafske, and his beloved wife, Dyan Sue Churchill.
Morrie is lovingly remembered by his sister Karen (John) Gardner of Coral Springs, Florida; his brother Robert (Sarah) Pillischafske of Louisville; and his nieces and nephews: Scott (Shanna) Gardner of Coral Springs, Florida; John Austin Gardner of Delray Beach, Florida; Lauren (Doug) Schultz of Louisville; Tom (Lauren) Pillischafske of Louisville; and James (Catherine) Pillischafske of Fishers, Indiana. He also leaves behind eleven great-nieces and nephews and his devoted companion, Paula (Prapapon) Suksai.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday November 21, followed by a service at Ratterman's Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville.
Morrie's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Susan Koman Breast Cancer Research.
