Edward C. Eckert, II

Age 58 of Indiana Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2025. Edward was born May 12, 1967 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Edward C. and Elaine (Rocco) Eckert. He was the loving brother of Vickie Celender (Richard) and Noelle Noel (Robert); cherished uncle of Andrew Celender (Theresa), Alexis Celender (Benjamin Visnesky), Hailey Schaffold and Jacob Schaffold; and dear great uncle of Rocco Celender.

Ed was a 1985 graduate of Fox Chapel High School and lettered in football and baseball, and was a 1989 graduate of Duquesne University where he majored in business and finance. He enjoyed golf, cards, and most importantly spending good times with family and friends. Ed was a great listener, if you could get a word in, and a great golfer if he ever stopped talking on the tee box. He was always the life of the party. Ed was kind, he was selfless, he was truly a saint on earth.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 19th from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall. Service and Interment private.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.

My wife and I had the pleasure of being a customer of Ed's window washing business. He always had a smile on his face and a kind, positive word. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
