Edward “Ed” Arnold Bolman, 82, of Wooster, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Smithville Western Care Center.
Ed was born March 28, 1943 in Cleveland to Edward and Emma {Nikel} Bolman. He graduated from Smithville High School in the class of 1960. He married Shelley Amstutz on June 25, 1994. She survives.
Ed worked in the maintenance department for Aultman Hospital in Orrville for over 20 years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Mid-Ohio Corvette Club, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Wooster Moose Lodge. Ed loved cars, especially his Corvettes, and caring for his lawn.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Shelley, sisters-in-law Kim VanZile and Valerie (William) Forrer; nephews Ben (Katie) VanZile, Aaron VanZile, niece Aubree (Charlie) Dawson; along with Ed’s cat Bella.
Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Bolman.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 am service on Thursday at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Edward-Bolman). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
