Edward Dee Hardin, also lovingly known as Dee, was born on the 12th of October 1957, in Louisville, KY. Dee lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love for those around him. His jovial personality and contagious laughter brought joy to many, and he was known for his radiant spirit and generosity. Dee was a supportive friend, a loving father, and an adoring grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Dee dedicated his working years to the printing industry, where he skillfully excelled as a Printing Press Cutter. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to his craft was admired by his peers and has left an indelible mark on the industry. Despite his retirement, Dee's love for his work never ceased. His dedication, resilience, and passion were traits that he not only applied to his career but also to his personal life.

Dee is survived by his loving daughter, Meredith Smallwood and her spouse Alex; his cherished grandchildren, William, Evelyn, Amelia, Eleanor, and Madelyn Smallwood; and his caring siblings, Kim, Lenna, April, and Mark Hardin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Norma Hardin. A visitation will be held for Dee on Sunday, Sep 28, 2025, at 1:00pm EDT until 2:00 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, located at 7420 Indiana 64, Georgetown, Indiana, 47122. His memorial service will follow at the same venue at 2:00pm EDT.

Dee's life was a testament to the power of love, support, and kindness. His impact on those he loved and the community he was a part of cannot be overstated. In these moments of reflection, let's celebrate Dee's life, remember the joy he brought to many, and the love he shared with his family and friends. We encourage you to leave your memories of Dee and upload photos to his memorial page, as a tribute to the extraordinary life he lived.
