Edward Kessler Obituary

Born on May 20, 1949 in Victor, he was the son of the late Vincent Isaac Kessler and Patricia Jean Eagan Kessler.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Vincent Kessler in 2014.
Edward was a member of the North Carolina Forestry Association, having formerly served as president. He was an avid outdoorsman and had many friends in the forestry industry in NC, WV and VA. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with many friends in Wyoming and Wisconsin.
Survivors include his companion, Christine Huffman of Casar, NC; 2 sisters, Karen Berry and Chuck of Bluefield, VA, Robyn Haller of Nashville, TN; brother, Garry Kessler and Ginny of Lansing; many nieces and nephews whom he really enjoyed and extended family and a host of friends.
Memorial graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., June 18, 2022 at Eagan Cemetery, Victor.

We are so sorry for your loss. I worked next door to Ed (Briggs Sawmill) for 22 years and got a visit from him almost daily. I think he might have been the best friend I ever had for he would come to visit my husband and I when he came to his home near Louisburg on his Dr. visits, etc. I treasure every story he ever told, he was the best entertainer ever! My heart is broken that I will not see him again. Our prayers are with you all. Janice and Larry Hudson

So sorry for your loss. I will sorely miss him too. Wisconsin and Wyoming trips will never be the same without the jovial entertainment Ed always provided. Memories will bring smiles.
