I recall my ex-husband, Albert Moorin, saying that Ed McDermott was his best friend growing up. They went to high school together and also both attended Montclair State University. Eddie came to visit Al when Al and I were married and had moved to Salt Lake City. I remember that Eddie had a great sense of humor.
