Edward Francis Petee, age 67 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Ebeid Hospice of Perrysburg, OH.
Born January 15, 1958, in Monroe. Ed was the son of the late Allen and Barbara (Larrow) Petee. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1976. He continued his education at Ferris State University, achieving his bachelor's degree in engineering.
Ed met and married the love of his life: Elizabeth "Liz" Grueschow on July 14, 1984, at Callingwood United Methodist Church of Toledo, OH. They enjoyed camping, in their RV as well as keeping animals as cherished pets. They raised a family of two children and spent over 40 years together.

In his younger years, he was very involved in racing dragster cars as a hobby. In his free time, he also enjoyed putting puzzles together. Every weekend, he would go over to his brothers house and spend the day tinkering with cars.
