Edward A. "Tony" Pitt

Edward A. Pitt, affectionately known as Tony to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024, in Granger, Indiana. Born on January 18, 1943, in Chelmsford, Essex, England to the late Edward Lens Alfred Pitt and Phyllis (Button) Pitt.
A family man at his core, Tony's most cherished moments were spent surrounded by his beloved wife, Judith M. Pitt, and their family. His role as a father to Helen (Zach) Roach of Wisconsin and Christopher (Melissa) Pitt of Mishawaka was one he embraced wholeheartedly, guiding his children with patience, wisdom, and an ever-present sense of humor. He was a beacon of love and stability to his grandchildren-William, David, Julie, Eliana Roach and Owen Pitt-who looked to their grandfather as a source of laughter, adventure, and advice.
In addition to tending his garden and family, Tony had a love for his dogs Pickle & Buddy. In his spare time he enjoyed watching formula one racing.
