Edward Joseph Renna
November 1, 1963 - January 25, 2023
Edward "Whitey" passed peacefully on January 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Edward is survived by his mother Marie Renna, two children Felicia Renna and Edward Renna Jr., his brother Robert and two sisters Loreen and Joann.
Edward was born on November 1st, 1963 to parents Robert and Marie Renna. Edward was born in Long Island, New York where he grew up and graduated high school in King's Park and began working for his fathers' sanitation company, where he found his love of being a mechanic. In 1998 Edward moved to Florida to be with his family. With his passion for trucks, he became a cross-country trucker. He loved being on the road and in the mountains. One of his favorite places to be was Lancaster, Pennsylvania where he would take his kids every summer. Any type of trip or party to be had he was there.
He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed horseback riding, exploring the mountains, riding his motorcycle, working on cars, traveling the road, and eating good Italian food, especially pizza. Edwards' personality lit up any room and now his loved ones will continue to shine his light.
A life well lived but taken too soon but for now, he is "on the road again."

I met whitey when I lived on Thomas st in Brentwood at my mother´s house. He was working for his families sanitation company. He was driving with his crew and stopped at my mom´s house to pick up some stuff that needed to be disposed of. We started chatting because he heard my Mother´s cockatoos screaming inside the house. Anyone that knew him from back then knew he had the sweetest umbrella cockatoo in the world. He was such a wonderful person and my parents and my daughter loved him. We went out several times but lost contact. I´m so sad to hear about his passing and I wish I would have reached out sooner. Not staying in touch with him was one of the biggest regrets of my life. I love when he called me little D. If his family is reading this and remember me let me say I´m so sorry for your loss. Whitey was one of a kind. May God be with you all.
