Edwin R. Hall

Edwin R. Hall, age 76 of Addison, New York passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1948 in Corning, New York to Franklin and Carolyn Hall. He married Irene Benjamin on June 30, 2012. He retired from Rochester General as a boiler operator after 20 plus years of service.
His passion was playing pool with his buddies: Bill Stratton, Colby Dean, Jeff Dean, Joel Dean, Bill Williams, Dan Williams, and Frank Hibbard. He also enjoyed playing poker with friends he had in Rochester. Eddie also enjoyed a good stogie.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Irene Benjamin-Hall; children: Cameron Hall of Rochester, NY, Eddie Nowak of Wolcutt, NY, Tina Toplinga of Rochester, NY; step children: Raymond Benjamin (Shannon Covert) of Addison, Janet Benjamin of Addison, Michael (Cindi) Benjamin of Addison; grandchildren, and two special great-grandchildren Bentley and Lane; siblings: Marjory Miles of Tuscarora, James ( Shirley) Hall of Campbell, Millie (Kenny) Peoples of Addison, Martha (Bill) Stratton of Addison, Benjamin (Wendy) Hall of Hornby, Joel (Kimberly) Hall of Corning and Fred (Sue) Marsh of Painted Post, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was predeceased by his brother, Franklin Hall.
Family and friends are invited to call at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, NY on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00pm with his nephew Kurtis Hall officiating.
