Edwin LaBarr Obituary

Edwin grew up on a farm outside of Rayville, Missouri. He attended the Rayville school through 8th grade and graduated from Richmond High School in 1970 where he was captain of the football team and President of the Key Club. He was the mayor of Richmond from 1983-1987. He worked in industrial sales at Cullum & Brown for over 24 years, where he served as Vice President. He was a member of the GOP Clay County Committee and he taught Sunday School at various churches throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Mildred LaBarr.
Survivors include his wife Diane LaBarr, his son and daughter-in-law Cameron and Susan LaBarr, his daughter and son-in-law Sarah LaBarr and John Ballew, his daughter and son-in-law Carissa and Brady Moore, his grandchildren Elliott LaBarr and Grace and Zoe Moore, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kearney First Baptist Church where Ed was a devoted member.

I first met Ed in Nashville at a Dystonia symposium. I could tell immediately that he loved Jesus and his beautiful wife, Diane! Every time we were together with Ed and Diane, we felt like we were with family! We are so blessed to have known Ed!!!
