Eileen Dasso, 82 died on April 25, 2025, in Flower Mound, Texas at Summertime House, a Residential Care Home. Eileen's visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at St. Marks Catholic Church in Argyle, Texas. Interment will follow on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Garden in Stillwater, Oklahoma at 1:00 p.m. Mulkey Mason Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Eileen was born on September 9, 1942, in Chicago, Il to August (Bud) and Eileen Herbert. She married David Dasso on Sept. 15, 1962, at St. Angela's Church in Chicago.
Eileen and Dave moved their family from Chicago to Ohio and Texas. Eileen and her husband, Dave moved to Stillwater in 1986, where Eileen joined Lowe's Home Improvement as the Human Resource Director. Eileen later moved to Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas to be closer to family, where she enjoyed time working at the Pinnacle Health Club and pool, playing cards with friends, and volunteering at St. Marks where she was an active member.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Dasso, her parents, and daughter Susan Eileen and brother Michael Herbert and sister Nancy Herbert. Eileen is survived by her daughter Denyse M Swaney and husband Todd of Flower Mound, Texas; daughter Maria S Chadd and husband Wade of Central City, Iowa; Grandchildren: Kristine Ross, Jennifer Nagy and husband Logan, Julie Burney and husband Nathan, Nicole Chadd, David Chadd-Pritchett and husband Brad Pritchett. Great Grandchildren: Amber Strickland, Kaylla Strickland, Elizabeth Strickland, Aiden Nagy, Hudson Nagy and Adelynn Isbell.
Pallbearers will be her son-in-laws, Todd Swaney and Wade Chadd, her grandsons, David Chadd-Pritchett, Brad Pritchett and Logan Nagy, great-grandsons, Aiden Nagy and Hudson Nagy.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
