Elaine Frances Ruegger, 75, passed away peacefully in her home in Fairfield, CT on Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was born on May 9, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Pasquale and Philomena DiGiantonio (Lettieri).
Elaine was a very passionate person who was devoted to her family. A lover of plants, gardening, books, baking, and walks with her husband Frank of 22 years.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband Frank Ruegger of Fairfield, CT, and her 4 children, Toni Mullen and her wife Laura of Chelmsford, MA, Charley Ruegger and his wife Elizabeth of Hillsborough, NJ, Billy Ruegger of Key West, FL, and Lena Schmidt and her husband Erwin of Stuttgart, Germany. She is also survived by her grandchildren Demitri and Noah Mullen, and Finn and Tate Ruegger.
A celebration of life service will be held privately.
