Mrs. Elaine S. Vaughn

Mrs. Elaine Sherrill Vaughn, 80, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in the comfort of her home.
Elaine was a faithful Christian and member of Belvedere United Methodist Church. She was a hard worker in the church in various capacities, and a Sunday School teacher for 26 years. She was also a member of the Belvedere Women's club, where she assisted in many community service projects throughout the years. She retired at the age of 73 after working over 50 years as a secretary. In her free time she enjoyed taking care of her flowers, sewing, and making quilts. She was also an exceptional cook, whose lemon meringue pie was a favorite. She absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. Above all, she was a loving Christian, wife, Momma and grandmother.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings.
Left to cherish her memory along with her husband of almost 60 years, Mr. Randy Vaughn, are her children Stacie Vaughn Boyd and Christopher W. Vaughn, as well as her grandchildren Brett, Sarah, Jonathan, Blaire and Carver.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 beginning at 12 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC. Pastor Mark English will officiate.
