Elba was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, she moved to New Jersey as a child and moved to Budd Lake from Woodbridge in 2009, joining the Rose House where she made deep connections and friendships.
Elba enjoyed outdoor activities. She enjoyed spending time at the beach or lake, quality time in the sun and spending time with her friends. She was not a fan of movies but did enjoy "West Side Story." She enjoyed petting small animals and watching animal antics.
Elba was beloved by all those that knew her. She touched many with her playful sense of humor. She was deeply admired for her love of life and determination to live life on her own terms.
A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 12:00 -1:30 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main Street, Netcong, NJ 07857. A service will follow the gathering at 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
