Eleanor Mang
January 2, 1937 – June 15, 2025
Eleanor Mang, 88, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. Born on January 2, 1937, Eleanor was a beloved member of her family and community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Mang, with whom she shared a loving marriage for 52 wonderful years.
As one of twelve siblings, Eleanor held her family dear to her heart throughout her life. She is survived by her four sons: Charles Mang, Michael Mang (Geneva), Thomas Mang, and Ronald Mang (Victoria), as well as seven of her eight cherished grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Eleanor's warmth and spirit extended to her loyal dog, Rusty, who was her companion for 14 years.
A service to honor Eleanor's life will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in La Jara, Colorado, on July 12, 2025, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to offer a Novena in remembrance of Eleanor.
In the words of a cherished sentiment, "Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories." Eleanor will be deeply missed, and her laughter will forever remain a treasured memory in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
