Eleanor Dean Siegel, 87, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away July 18, 2025.
She was born to Raymond (Blackie) Summers and Maxine Summers of Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Eleanor was united in marriage to Darle R. Siegel on November 25, 1953. This November they would have celebrated their 72nd Anniversary. They had two children, Darla and Denton.
She is survived by her husband, Darle of the home; her daughter, Darla (Ben) Wierzbicki; daughter-in-law, Sonra Siegel; and sister, Cheryl (Michael) Swope, all of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; grandchildren, Zach (Sara) Wierzbicki of Liberty, Danelle (Justin) McBee of Excelsior Springs, and Clay (Andrea) Wierzbicki of Orrick; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Benjamin, Ryan, Noah Wierzbicki, and Dantin McBee, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by by her son, Denton; her sister, Elaine O' Dell; and her parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North New Garden Primitive Baptist Church of Excelsior Springs, Mo.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. at North New Garden Primitive Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North New Garden Primitive Baptist Church, 13030 Hwy. O, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
