Elio J. Bozza, 93 of Middletown, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Arbor Terrace Nursing Home.
Elio was the beloved husband to his late wife Audrey who passed in 2019. They were married for 60 years. He was also predeceased by his Daughter Darlene Bozza Gonzalez.
Elio, and automotive painter in his younger years, switched and finished out his career as a Bridge and Tunnel Officer before his retirement.
Elio had many hobbies, Playing the horses and trips to the casino were some of his pass times. Elio was an avid NY Yankees fan and could be found proudly sporting something Yankee's like his hats and shirts.
Elio loved to exercise, He had a home made gym set up in his garage, lifting weights from his patio chair to working out at the Senior center well into his late 80's, he lived a full and healthy life.
Loving father of Carol Bozza-Segal (Eric), Susan Curto (Richie) and Son in Law David Gonzalez. Cherished grandfather of Tiffany (Kurt), Justin (Stephanie), Danielle (Ashley), Nicholas (Matt), Amanda and Ariana. Adored great grandfather Collin, Lyla, Jaxon, Stella, Julian & Ryan.
A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
