Elizabeth I. Chapman, 84, of East Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at home.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
The Former Elizabeth Irene Clark was born March 17, 1940, in Milan, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Irene Clark. She Married Michael Wasiluk, later Gene Chapman. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Ruth Hill and Edward Clark.
She is survived by son Patrick Wasiluk, daughter Cathy Manley, Grandchildren Leigh (mike), JJ, and Raistlin, great granddaughter Elizabeth, precede in death by grandson Nicolas.
She worked for the Milan Mirror, Times Democrat, and Milwaukee Journal, news papers and publishing industry.
She enjoyed playing solitaire, mahgong and reading books.
