Elizabeth L. Favors

Elizabeth L. Favors, of Upper Southampton, passed away on Monday September 1, 2025. She was 80. Betty was born in Pottstown, PA to Anna (Artim) and Elwood Daniels. She is survived by her loving daughters, Cynthia Reinecke (Robert) and Marie Traylor (Pete); grandchildren, Jocelyn Masino (Gary), Abigayle Reinecke, Rebecka Reinecke, Jaleesa Gibson, Richard Gibson, Jr., and Jake Traylor; great-grandchildren, Madison Masino, Remi Gibson and Rosalani Gibson and her sister, Shirley Straub. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Leon and her siblings, Margaret Nagy, Charles Daniels, and Joan Munroe.
Throughout her life she enjoyed camping, time at the shore, and in the mountains. Many summers were spent swimming, and being a very active person. She also enjoyed time with the animals at the small five acre farm Leon tended as his hobby. She loved animals and would always help the birds and stray cats that showed up. Holidays were filled with plenty of baked goods and sometimes for no reason. The hardest thing for her was to lose her independence, and watch her physical ability slip away. She tried to do this with grace, faith in God, and a sense of humor. She was a straight shooter and when asked if she was going to dinner one day, she stated, "I am taking a nap but god willing I will go." She joked constantly about how every day was one more day that she had as a gift, and always said we shall see about tomorrow.
