Elizabeth A. "Betsy" Hull

Elizabeth A. (Betsy) Hull, age 64, of Corning died at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born October 25, 1960 in Bradford, PA to Daniel and Barbara Hull. She was married to her best friend of over 30 years, Andrea (Andie) Haradon.
There was no one on this earth who was more thoughtful and giving to those she loved than Betsy. She delighted in playing with, planning surprises and adventures for, and giving gifts to her loved ones, including: her mother (Barbara); her sisters Carolyn (Jim) Kearney, Kathy (Todd) Carpenter, Diane DeeDee (Rick) Brown; her sisters-in-law Deborah (Paul) Haradon-Brooks, Marilyn (Robert Bob) Pipes, and brother-in-law Francis Chip (Carol) Haradon; her step children Zebulon Zeb Haradon, Benjamin (Patti) Haradon-Keane; Caleb (Diana Jaramillio-) Keane, and Ariel (Derrik) Haradon-Chrisler; her grandchildren Adam and Toby Haradon, Noemi Jaramillo Hills and Lily, Gabriel and Levi Haradon-Chrisler; her nieces and nephews Erin (Grant) Oliver, Daniel (Anna) Kearney, Shannon (Eric) Crandall, Megan Brown, Molly (Grace) Rehnquist and Logan Carpenter (Connor Davis), Erica (Josh McNight), Chris and Colin (Rhiannon Adler) Haradon-Brooks, Danny and Molly (Peter Lezzi) Pipes, Jesse (Caroline) and Emilee Haradon, and her great nieces and nephews Simone, Emry, Jameson, Peter, Jack, Sawyer, Mabel, Lizzie, Margot, Frankie and Nellie, as well as many well-loved cousins and their families including Donald, David and Douglas Smith, Peggy and Chris Hull and our loving dog, Ingrid. She was predeceased by her father (Dan), her wifes parents (Bill and Rita Haradon); brother-in-law, Timothy Haradon; stepson, Joshua Keane, nephew, Adam Carpenter; and several aunts and uncles.
Always active in sports, she played on the tennis team for four years at Susquehanna University, graduating with a degree in Business Administration/ Management in 1983. Betsy then pursued a career in public service and helping the more vulnerable/less fortunate members of society. After working for the Easter Seals Society, Bethany Center and the Bradford County Commissioners, Betsy was hired by the Institute for Human Services as the Executive Director of the Corning Area Youth Center to develop and operate after-school programs, creating such programs as Kids Night Out and Kids Caf (an after-school and summer feeding program), and overseeing such programs as AmeriCorps, YouthBuild and the Addison Youth Center. In later years she worked as Vice President of Development in her wifes company (Human Service Development) to develop funding applications and provide quality improvement services to eleven Public Health Departments in the region. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Betsy loved gambling, game shows, cooking and travel throughout the world including Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America and Antarctica.
Family and friends are invited to the First United Methodist Church, 1034 W. Broad St. in Horseheads, on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025 with calling hours from 10-11 am, an opportunity to share remembrances of Betsys life at 11, followed by a funeral service. A celebration of Betsy's life with a luncheon will follow at Libs Supper Club 106 West Fifth St. in Elmira at 1 pm. Burial will take place at Goodsell Cemetery in Hornby at a later date.
