Elizabeth (Liz) Rose Price, age 85, of Conneaut Lake, died at Meadville Medical Center, Saturday, January 13, 2024. She was born in Glen Dale, WV on July 17, 1938, a daughter of the late Edith Burgess. She married William E. Price in August 1959.
She was a graduate of Edinboro State College with a Master's degree in Education. Liz went on to teach first grade at Conneaut Lake Elementary School where she retired in 2001. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She loved watching sports, cooking, and home improvement shows. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: two sons, Douglas Price and his wife Diane of Canfield, OH and Michael Price and his wife Shelly of Mercer, PA; three grandchildren, Ashley Price, Drew Price (Whitney) and Colton Price (Leslie); a step-granddaughter, Cindy Bishop (Ben), six great-grandchildren, and a best friend Nancy Osborne of Meadville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William of 54 years, a son William J. Price, and a brother Donald Burgess.
Calling hours will be February 3 from 10-12 p.m. with a memorial service at 12 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake with the Rev. Russell Adams of Canfield, OH, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Samaritans Holy Ground Thrift Shop & Food Pantry (at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church), 155 S. Ninth Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
