Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Reynolds, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025. Born September 4, 1939, in Minneapolis, MN, to Russell and Betty Ann (Marren) Olson, Betty grew up surrounded by love and family. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1957, and shortly after, married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Marvin "Marv" Reynolds, in 1959. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising three children: Michael John (1960), Timothy Paul (1962–2021), and Terese Marie (1963).
Betty and Marv made their home in Champlin, MN, creating countless happy memories before retiring to their dream lake home in Longville, MN, in 1992. Their marriage was a joyful partnership of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion until Marv's passing in 2009.
To know Betty was to love her. She lived generously and loved unconditionally, cheering on her children, grandchildren, and friends through all of life's joyous milestones. In hard times, she was the comforting hand to hold, the tight hug, and the thoughtful voice offering kind, steady words.
A woman of deep faith, Betty never missed a Sunday Mass. She served proudly as a Eucharistic minister, attended Bible studies, and found purpose in comforting those around her.
Betty's greatest gift was her ability to connect. Visiting was her superpower - she welcomed everyone with a bright smile, a warm conversation, and often an endearing "sweetheart" or "angel." Her heart was open to all, and she made lasting friendships wherever she went.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marv Reynolds; her parents, Russell and Betty Ann Olson; her son, Timothy Reynolds; her granddaughter, JaeDee Reynolds; and great-granddaughters, Emily Hall and Olivia Reynolds.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Becky) Reynolds and Terese (Jay) Anderson; her brother, Rick (LeNore) Olson; her grandchildren, Jess (Jason) Wander, Jeff (Rose) Reynolds, Guy Norton (Moe McGee), Garrett Reynolds, Katlin (Noah) Hall, and Jake Anderson (Kelsey Roste); and twelve great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished sister, and loyal friend. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and faith - a legacy that will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
A Rosary will be held at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Lisbon, North Dakota.
