Ella Rose Johanna Fox, 3 months old, passed away at Duke University Hospital on July 22nd, 2024. She was born on April 1st, 2024, to Jinea and Daniel Fox in Rochester, NY.
In the short time Ella had on Earth, she had a lasting impact on all of those that had the privilege of meeting her. Ella loved spending time with her brother David, and loved snuggling up with her mommy whenever she was able. Ella also loved music and enjoyed her rides through the halls. We had the honor to meet a caring staff that did their best every day to provide Ella care. If you knew Ella, you knew that she was a fighter. She faced every obstacle that came her way and although the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped, her legacy will live on. To the medical team, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing Ella with love and care every shift you had with her. Your efforts did not go unnoticed and are truly appreciated. Please continue to honor her fighting spirit.
Ella is survived by her parents, Daniel and Jinea Fox; brother, David Fox; grandparents, Jill and JJ Restivo, Patricia Fox; great-grandparents, Ruth Restivo and Terry Ruthoford; aunts, Jinell Restivo and Sarah Malone; uncle Peter Fox, and extended family at Duke University Hospital.
