Norma, Lonnie, and Brad.....
I opened my email tonight to read the news about your mom. It broke my heart!!! So many of my core memories include your family.....more specifically, your Mom and Dad!!! From picking vegetables in the garden, to spending whole weekends shelling peas and canning, to motorcycles and enduros. The were the funniest couple!!! I can not ever remember a time that your Dad didn't meet us with his genuine smile. It was was never long before he was off telling a "storie" or offering some helpful advice and the he would have the attention of everyone in ear shot and every single one would be laughing!!! And, it was impossible to hear your Mom laugh and not follow suit. And, on the worst of days she gave the best hugs and refused to let you loose or to walk away while you still had tears in your eyes on on your face, wasn't happening until she got a smile out of you!!! We grew up as family, and I was half grown before I ever realized we were not bound by blood!!! Lol... It's been so many years since I'd seen your Mom & Dad, but I did miss them and think of them often...and always fondly! I am so sorry for your loss, please know it was not your loss alone. She will continue to be missed and I will treasure both your parents and the love and memories they so freely gifted us for as long as my heart beats. Praying for you all .....
