Ellen Lee Jordan

Ellen Lee Jordan, originally of Charlestown, passed away at her home in Duxbury on August 6th, at the age of 82, after a long illness. Ellen lived in Duxbury for over forty years with her husband of 55 years, Robert Jordan. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert B. Lee and Ellen McTiernan Lee, both originally of Charlestown, and last of Quincy.
In her younger years, Ellen worked in the Business/Accounting world for a number of businesses in Boston, and for a short time in the 1960's she lived and worked in Hawaii.
In 1985, with the addition of their daughter Samantha Ellen, Ellen and Bob became a family.
In the late 1990s/early 2000s, Ellen was Treasurer and then President of the Pilgrim Skating Club. Her daughter, Samantha, represented the Club in Single Competitions and later as a member of the Club's Precision Skating Team.
Ellen is survived by husband Bob, their beloved daughter Samantha, her twin sister Carolyn Lee Babin of Plymouth, her son Stephen, his wife Jesse, their son Nathaniel of TX, her sister Diane Lee Murphy, her late husband John, of SC, their daughter Rachel, her husband David, and their son Dawson of NC, her brother David Lee, his wife Chris of Dracut, their two sons, David, Jr, his wife Mary and their two children, of NH, and Alex, his wife Joshlyn, and their four children, of NH, her sister Frances Lee Murphy, her husband Jim, of MA, their two daughters, Jill and her husband, and their two daughters of NH, and Kerri of MA, her brother Tom and his wife Kathy of MA, her brother Robert, Jr. of MA, and various friends.
There will be a life remembrance gathering at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street (Rte. 3A), Plymouth, on Friday, August 22nd, from 2 to 5 p.m. Her private graveside service will take place at a later date at the Winthrop Cemetery.
